Note to Self: Setup Twitter Account to Use with Nanowrimo

Resisting Twitter has been easy for many moons.  After all, most people seem to post drivel, and who really wants to be a fanboy of anything?  But, now I must cave in because I realize that a Twitter account can be used not only to gather ideas from others during Nano, but also to force some modicum of accountability upon myself.   So, yep, SeerOvum is now on Twitter.

Do Not Think I Can Do It in Ten Days

i do not think I can crank out a script in ten (10) days for Script Frenzy.  Actually, if I were writing Novel / Short Story I bet I could do it.  But, script writing is totally new to me.

Maybe I found an idea hidden in this.  I wonder if I could do one week, or ten day, marathons.  Bang out a hundred pages in, say, ten days; rest; do it again and again until a novel (or script) emerges.  Hmm.

I am writing this because my writing buddy is “keeping me honest.”  Accountability helps, even if it is just the tiny spark of a blog entry.

Writing Partners and Growing Characters

For the first time ever, I have a face to face writing partner.  I have an unpublished novel, and he wants to get started and he looks to me for ideas.  But, I feel like the blind leading the blind.  Still, he forces me to think about what I say and think about writing.  We have been discussing character development.  Working on his characters, I realize that I need to be growing mine again.
